jan9 Here comes the Whales

As the Greenpeace ship Esperanza searching for the Japanese Whalers in the southern ocean to stop them from killing the whales, me and my family went to Te papa Museum to experienced “Whales Tohora” exhibition .

My kids are having fun at the exhibit and also a great opportunity to explore the world of these amazing sea creatures, through a unique blend of science and storytelling. In this exhibit you will learned the evolutions of whales, history of whaling in New Zealand, find whale information and student activities.

I also met some of the whale people who dedicated their life to protect this magnificent sea creatures or check some cool stuff such as these:

You can also donate to Te papa ’s Whales Stranding Research Program. by downloading a whale ringtones or wallpaper to your mobile phone. Just check the Te papa website.

TWO days before Christmas being a Animal welfare Advocate a purchased a SPCA Christmas single , A very Silent Night to help the organization to continue their operations by providing a shelter for animals requiring care and attention.

The ” A very Silent Night” ,according to SPCA, has been designed especially to get tails wagging and puppies dancing. It’s a song solely for dogs – recorded at the highest frequencies possible for compact disc recording , In short, only our canine friends can hear it.

The SPCA Christmas single is available exclusively at The Warehouse for only $4.99. It’s a a perfect gift for dog lovers and guess what the single hits. Number ONE on the official New Zealand Music Chart top 40 single chart.
