From All white up to Sponge Bob Squarepants, the 2009 Santa Parade in Wellington are amazing and the crowd loved the show particularly the kids with a estimated 60,000 people lined the streets.

The Parade started at 2PM  at the corner of Lambton Quay and Ballance Street. and l travel down Lambton Quay on to Willis Street, before moving on to Wakefield Street and ending in Cuba Street.

The parade is one of Wellington's oldest events, dating back to the 1960s when it was called the James Smith Parade.

The parade is organised by the Council and about 86 groups and floats take part in the parade including Chinese political lobby group Falun Gong, which had battled to be included in previous parade.

After the Parade, I went to Four King Bar at the corner of Taranaki St. and Courtney Place to join the Filipino Community to watch the Pacquio-Cotto fight and eventually "the Pacman" won by TKO.

Congrats!!
